Your Online Influence, Your Webmaster Wiki

Next: Sneaky Snakes Trying To Get Backlinks

Over the weekend I got to spend a little time playing with the new Webmaster Wiki that I just added to the site. I’m getting jazzed about it potential, and I am hoping many others (you) will see it as a great resource as well.

Blogging Style Guide

As someone that likes to blog on a regular basis, I thought one of the first things to get to work on is the style guide. I currently use fairly rigid guide on BWI, butĀ  I really only have a few items. Basically, my current style guide for this site is on the inside page of a notebook. Having the Wiki to refer to will be an excellent way for myself and for others to haveĀ  online guide, and your input could influence our style. The style guide is still just a general one, and is not really specific to blogging, but I thought a basic start is a better idea to get things moving. We can always create new guides or unique guides for specific industries as the wiki develops. Style Guide

Some Extra Incentive

As an extra incentive to get some of you to add your own techniques and guides, I thought I would add a little extra incentive. For those of you that take the time to register on the wiki, and to add your own content/edits I have created a page called: Participating Webmasters and Their Sites.

By adding your name here you can list a primary site, and if you are using the wiki to help format your other sites you may also create your own author page that lists those sites.

Hope to get your input, and hope you at least help out with the Style Guide!
