WordPress users. Are you using WordPress version 2.9, and find your schedule posts are not working? Well it’s time for yet another upgrade, version 2.9.1. This latest updated is pretty limited in changes, but it was necessary. Schedule posts are a big deal for many of us, and depending on your server, the last update may have been driving you crazy. It’s always a good idea to keep up to date on your software anyhow.

To upgrade simply go to your WordPress dashboard, go to Tools, and then click Upgrade. Your are on your way!

You can also download, and manually install yourself. Download WordPress

  1. Crap, I wish I was on WP. A lot of my friends are on it and the plugins are awesome. I’m on Drupal for my blog which may be powerful but not entirely necessary for a blog.

    • I love WordPress. The only real complaint I have about it, is the fact that they upgrade so often. Can be a pain when you have multiple clients using it.

      • Robert I can see how it can be a pain to update all the different clients, but you gotta love the fact that wordpress is improving, and that they are working hard for us if you think about it :D and the best of all its free hehe :D

        Till then,

        Jean

  2. I definitely already upgraded to wordpress 2.9.1 on my personal blog, but the strange thing the other day it started to overload the server whenever I delete a mass amount of spam comments that akismet catches, and I am not really sure what is happening either :( Perhaps I should just try emailing akismet before I break the website with all the different solutions I’ve been trying lol.

    Till then,

    Jean
