Xemiom

Looking for some freelance work as a web designer? Xemion has a site just for you filled with web design jobs.

Xemion has been around for about five years, so you can expect a ton of new listings. It could also be especially busy right now because employers are able to submit ads right now for the big ZERO. That would be a $75 fee at Craigslist. There is a big difference between Craigslist and Xemion though. Xemion also filters out the type of job by industry type, and not just location.

If you looking for web designer jobs, you can search a number of ways. You can search for regular employment, part-time, or freelance. If you are a web developer, and live in the San Francisco Bay Area like me, you are really in luck. I saw over fifty listings for jobs posted in June 2009 already. Don’t think it stops with just the Bay Area though. Xemion supports U.S., U.K., Australia, and pretty much everywhere else. The site is really only limited by being in English.

As a final note about Xemion, they also had a few pages that help give advice to those looking for jobs, including a blog for regular support. Nice to see a giant listing for web developers all in one spot.
