Wall Street’s Woes

A day after Wall Street’s worst session in years, I am glad I have not tied up all my stocks in just the U.S. market. Though it’s a little easier to keep up to date in the market in my home country, it’s just not wise to keep all the eggs in one basket, as they say. So where do you find investment information on the global market? Searching for it you find plenty of sites that simply echo the numbers, but if you are actually looking for a little news I would suggest BoxForex.com.

The Box Forex site specializes in news, and advice for investing in the foreign market. As their logo says, “The Worlds Largest Forex Resource”, I can agree, they do have a great deal of information available. The news section is extensive, covering everything from Foreign Currencies to Real Estate. There is also a great deal of educational information found on the site. Some of the topics are about the type of software to use, best strategies, and how to even hire a top quality Forex Broker.

One of the things I like about this site is actually a usability issue that, I believe, was handled well. The issue is when writing about foreign investment, it’s difficult to keep the vocabulary and reading easy for everyone.  What they have done, is included a fairly extensive glossary of terms, and made a link to in in their main left sidebar for easy finding. I used it a couple of times just in writing this article.

Overall, I would say this site has the makings to be a major contender as a Forex News site. The news section is reason alone, and its advice could be just another good reason to visit. If it were my site? Make the font size a little larger. I’m old, and my eyes are not what they used to be, and I’m guessing so are Forex investors.
