Instant website coming up. Building a website doesn’t have to be a major production. Can you say website templates?Â If you are looking to start a new site, whether it be made from scratch, WordPress, Joomla, or whatever, there are ton of templates out there to get your site up and running in no time. Where are there a ton of them? The Template Kingdom.

Template Kingdom has a variety of templates. You can find Joomla templates, CSS, WordPress, and simple website templates. They have nearly fifty different categories to choose from, and most of them have over fifty or more different templates within. I found this looking for some Joomla templates for myself. For those of you unaware of Joomla, it’s kind of like WordPress in ease of setting up, but it is designed for websites, not blogs. Building a CMS site is the way to go these days, and using Joomla combined with a pre-designed template can certainly make things easier.

Template King offers a variety of free, and paid templates, and if you are template designer they are looking for you!

In a hurry, and looking to crank out a site in a flash. Elegant Templates might be good source for you. They offer logo templates, web design templates, flash templates, and even some free templates.

Templates can be great, especially in the testing process. It’s a nice way to see your site idea in different formats. Elegant Templates offers templates for a variety of web related items like logos, and flash intros. They have a huge listings of categories for each type of template you need so you should be able to find something that fits your theme.

Using a template, especially a free template, can have a downside though. You will find other sites using the design. I’m not a big fan of that, and if you are like me, don’t worry. Elegant Templates offers templates in exclusive format, meaning you can buy the template, and they have to stop selling it. The price will jump dramatically for this service, but it’s a fair price considering the work involved. Prices for shared web design templates averaged around $60. Comparing to other template sites, a pretty standard to low price.

Flash Templates

Very sweet, low cost, cool flash templates. I was checking out Dreamline Studio today, and they may be the solution to a problem I have. Pre-made flash templates. I’m looking for a little extra flair for one of the sites I am working on.

Dreamline Studio is a web template site specializing in flash. They will also be offering html templates, but right now it’s over 100 flash templates to zero html templates. Besides having site templates, they have component templates as well. There are a few carousel templates, lots of gallery options, and pre-loader screens. Need a flash shopping cart? You got it. There are flash intro pages, splash pages, and a few miscellaneous items. All worth looking at.

What got me was the cost. Check out this template, $75. Totally cool site template, and all you have to do is edit the data with your own. You need flash software to edit the details, but I hope you would have this if you intend on hosting a flash site. There is tons of stuff like that, and some were as low as $25.

Verisign secured, paypal, and most cc’s, this site is ready to sell.
