Know how to send in SMS with your phone? Please tell me you do. If you have kids, and you don’t, you better figure it out quick. Because this site is written for webmasters in general, I am going to assume you know how. Here is another question for you though. Do you know how to send SMS messages in bulk?

An Australian company, Message Media, has got bulk SMS dialed. A few instant message services like Yahoo allow you to send an SMS from its IM software, but Message Media makes it so you can send it from your mail software like Microsoft Outlook. The best part is, you can send a message to an entire group, not just one person at a time like Yahoo. An even greater part to this, is that when the person replies to the message using their phone or whatever, the message is sent to your inbox, not your SMS device. It’s basically turned SMS into email, and your email address is your phone number. Cool deal.

When using their service for corporate SMS you can know that their network is Australian based, and they do not use International SMS/Junk type networks. Didn’t get that SMS? The service probably got routed into International waters. They guarantee their services, and have been around for eight years.

Now they just need to figure out how to start offering their services over here in the U.S.. I would love to send bulk SMS through my Outlook. Anyone know any?

A couple of days ago I was reviewing stacks of new sites like I always do, and decided that it was enough. I had seen enough sloppy sites. As I was finishing up I ended up on this SMS site. It broke a few of my personal rules, but what it did have was great appeal. At least it did to me.

If you are unaware of SMS is, welcome to world of text messaging. SMS stands for Short Messaging Service. The site SMS Bucket is a collection of text messages that you can send to friends or loved ones. It’s organized similar to a Hallmark card section you would find at your local grocery store. There is a friendship category, a love category, and things like that. Simple little, pre-written messages that you can send to your love one.

Sending pre-written text messages really isn’t my thing, but when I saw the site I really liked it. I liked it before I even knew what it was. It has a simple design, nice color combination, and a consistent look throughout the site. Navigation could not be more clear, unless you landed on the Gift Card Section. It hasn’t been completed yet. I could get all picky about certain pet peeves I have about the site, but I think the author will figure them out. Overall, I thought it was great.

Looking for nice SMS to send friend? You should have one in a few seconds if you visit the site.
