Live in the UK, and single? I’m Yours is a free UK dating site. I’m not really sure how many people use these sites, but it seems like growing industry. I’ve been married almost eleven years now, and these sites were not really out there when I was single. I had to do it the old fashion, and meet people face to face.
First know that ImYours dating services is exclusively for United Kingdom and residence of Ireland only. Once you have become a member you can start playing cupid, or read the match making success stories. Members and non-members can both browse profiles at any time using the quick search form seen here on the right. Obviously you would need to be a member to contact someone you are interested in. On the home page, the site also had a random photo where visitors can rate them. Non-members are allowed to particpate in this as well.
As a member you get a few extra choices to manage profiles. You can add other members to your favorites, you can send virtual kisses, and most importantly, you can block other members. Got to be able to block that weird creepy guy that keeps emailing you know.
The joys of single life. Time to go buy my wife some flowers, I don’t want to go back!

I am not a UK or ireland resident, but it’s a pretty nice looking dating site. Dating sites are pretty popular, since you mentioned you werent really in the loop.
In my opinion theres way to many dating site a around as it is, look at the other 2 commenters for example

I think Dating sites are now indispensable. Finding a date is easier on the internet.
