Am I a carrier of the Swine Flu? Could be. My whole family got something nasty with the known symptoms. We managed to stay home the entire time, since Thursday last week. This is not something you want to spread, even if it isn’t the swiner. Note to moms getting ready to send you kids back to school. If they have a fever today, do not send to school tomorrow.

Anyhow, I was lucky enough to snap a picture of the nasty little guy, and I thought I would share it with you. Just like my youngest shared it with the family!

  1. Oh no.. I thought Swine Flu has already gone.. I hope your family won’t be infected by that virus anymore.LOl that pig is quite ugly huh.

  2. I hope that swine flu would be gone forever. I hate seeing people suffer with that virus. Time is gold and if you are infected by that one, you could just stay at home..
Thanks for posting, that pig is silly. lol

  3. Thanks God this virus not in my country. I wish it will gone forever soon

    • there’s a country it’s not in?

      • That’s what I was thinking. Knowing that it’s in the United States pretty much ensures it’s everywhere. There was even a recent news article how the native people on a small island (Diomede, Alaska) got it. If you search Google where Diomede is, you will find it might as well be the North Pole.

  4. what the! is that a real pic?

  5. Sorry to hear that your entire family came down with the flu. Mine has managed to avoid it so far. School children can spread it fast. A couple of months ago we actually had one school in our county close for a few days because I think they had 20% of the students sick.

    • Hi Andrea,

The funning thing at the end, was when it was time for the kids to go back to school. Before returning them to school we made sure they were no longer contagious and close to 100%. When we showed up at school again, it appeared they were the healthiest kids there. Tons of kids coughing, and obviously sick. Keeping them home to not get others sick…pointless. There will always be another.

  6. It was really nice to see a light hearted side to the Swine Flu Epidemic…and yes it made me laugh! But let us not detract from the serious side of this issue..Swine Flu is here, it’s spreading and like all readers we need to take as many precautions as we can to control this epidemic. “How To Survive Swine Flu” was an essential read for me.. I hope you find this useful. Here’s to a Swine Flu free planet (still smiling about the photograph by the way!!)
