Oh wow, I had no idea you could actually patent a website format. Or at least I never thought of the idea.
I’m guessing other websites like Myspace and Facebook are going to try to follow suit, now.
I honestly can’t believe it was allowed. The layout Google is claiming right to is so easy to do, and is already being done in many places. It seems greedy by Google, and reflects poorly on the U.S. patent office.
