Being a little sidetracked watching the Presidential Inauguration today I still wanted to post a quick link about a site I found earlier today. The site is called Internet Retailer, and they had an interesting article about the top 500 e-retailers in regards to coupons. In 2008 they foud 335 of them were now using either coupons or rebates on their sites, and 12% increase from 2007.
Coupons are a great way do get a would be visitors attention, and is a great way to close a sale.

Excellent post!! Well, I think that online coupons not only support the customers, they also provide the necessary venue for retailers to advertise their products.
That is very important indeed. It is the people who do not take advantage of that who are the ones who normally do not succeed. If you stick with it and learn the ways, this industry can earn you a lot of money!! Good article, nice work.

This is done in order to drive more business to the retailer’s site. Whatever the reason, coupon codes mean savings for customers. Not all coupons are for discounts on actual products, sometimes there are codes for free or discounts on shipping charges. Shipping can be expensive so a savings in that area is nice to have.
