Well I guess I know what I am doing Wednesday. Installing Google’s new Beta Sitemap Generator. I’m happy with the third party application I have running on this site for now, but I have one big site, nearly 50,000 pages that could use the power of Google to help me out. I had to write a custom script to make the sitemap for that site. The third party scripts were not cutting it. Now that Google’s offering their own, it will hopefully improve things. The generator runs on Linux or Microsoft servers.

I tried to install it once but the problem was that it did not work with my server properly, I am using shared hosting, it seems you can only use it for dedicated server.
