Conference Calls

NOTE: Unfortunately Thinkature no longer seems to be supported. I pulled the links.

Last Saturday I mentioned Thinkature Workspace. It’s a cool whiteboard tool that you can use online. One of the things I like most about it is how you can work online in a conference call type of environment. Main advantage to conferencing online? You can get the work done, and not have to travel.

Earlier this week one of my regulars here asked me if I knew any other conference sites like this. I didn’t, but I did have this conference call glossary bookmarked that I though I would share. It’s more of a dictionary of commonly used communication words, but it did have a few conference services listed in the left sidebar. When it just me and a client, or me with a client with a few guests, I typically just use Skype.

Hopefully the glossary will be good for some of you. I know half the battle is simply knowing what kind of conference does what.
