Will code for back brace. As a webmaster I sit at my desk a lot. I’ve been doing it for over ten years now, and probably one of the best things you can invest in is a chair. My brother sells furniture, but it is all wood stuff, and chairs there are made for coffee tables, and stuff like that. Not a good fit for long term sitting.
I found one site, Comfyco Furniture, that sells office furniture online. I know there are tons of big business places to buy office furniture, but in support of my brother, I try not to buy furniture from shops like Staples, or Office Depot. What I know of the industry now, is that your are most likely going to get a better product from a privately owned furniture store. They hate doing returns, and their business name means everything to them.
When selecting a great chair, here is what I always look for.
- Butt padding power – needs to high, I am 240lbs, and will feel the support bars if the padding is not there
- Back Support – I like to lean back when I think, mesh will be flimsy after a while
- Arm rests- Get the kind that can move out of the way by folding back
- Positioning – You have to be able to adjust your eyes to be vertically even with the top of your monitor
- Wheels! – If you can not roll over to the printer, you do not have a chair
When I was younger I used to sell copiers. One of the best things I learned from the experience is not how to sell, but how to buy. When you are looking for a product, you really do need to remove price from the equation, at least at first. Write down all the things you want or need first, so when it is time to shop you know exactly what you are looking for. Don’t just go to a furniture store, and plop your butt in a bunch of chairs hoping to find the right one. Know what your are buying, and why you are buying it.

Lol, butt padding power.
I’ve been noticing an increase in office chair advertisements here lately across the web. And finally, I think I’m realizing I need to invest in a better butt support myself.
I’ll check out your friends store.
I used to weigh 280, and butt padding was just one of the many issues. 6’4″ and 280lbs, chairs feared me.
Lol.
I think you are right there are lot of furniture in this site including office and home
Thanks for sharing

You should also take noticed of how the backrest is connected to the rest of the chair if you like to lean back on it.
I had a chair once where the back was screwed into a wooden base. After a couple of years the wood gave way and the office chair was rendered useless.
