For those of you interested in affiliate programs I found one called, Options University Affiliate Program. It’s your basic affiliate system, free to join, and you get paid for sales/clicks. Options University is a trading company in Florida. Smartly, they stared a second domain name to support their affiliate program.
For any affiliate program site you will almost always see, “Make Money and Hardly Work”. Most of these sites do offer real money, and pay. When they refer to work though, they mean back breaking work, not sitting at the computer working. Like all things in life, if you want to make money, you are going to have to work for it.
The claim six big reasons you will make money:
- You can earn big commissions. Generous 35% commission paid on all our products and services!
- You can profit wildly from potential competitors. That’s right: Instead of competing against others selling the same products, you can recruit other affiliates first as your sub-affiliates and then earn “overriding†10% commissions on every sale they make!
- You’ll get proven ads that will generate very high numbers of click-throughs — including our best-converting sales copy, banners, text links, classified ads and e-mail promotions!
- You’ll get commissioned on procrastinators — even after 3 years! If you send us a visitor who doesn’t buy right away — but comes back to our site and buys within three years — you’re still fully commissioned! (They don’t even need to go through your site the second time.)
- You’ll learn how our top affiliates can make $100,000+ in a single month.* Immediately after joining, you’ll get personalized access to our private Affiliate Resource Center, where you can access the quick start training video that will show you how to get started fast!*
- You’ll even receive special perks and bonuses I can’t even tell you about here
Looking at some of their screen shots of some of their top affiliates it looks like they were making on average $100 a sale. They were averaging a 3-4% conversion rate. Pretty good, and if you could get just one sale, it would be nice. Though I was not thrilled with the layout of the site, they do appear serious about helping you make money, and offer several methods in training.
